On Wednesday, January 29 the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education, will present The Aviator. Following the movie, a panel from the Mathison Centre and the Alberta Obsessive Compulsive Disorder Foundation will discuss OCD as a severe condition and what it’s like to live with the illness.

About the film:
The Aviator depicts the life of Howard Hughes as he becomes a successful film producer and an aviation magnate while simultaneously growing more unstable due to severe obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Featured Speakers

Dr. Paul Arnold, MD, PhD, Director, Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research & Education; Professor, Departments of Psychiatry & Medical Genetics, Cumming School of Medicine.

Jennifer Masek, President, Alberta OCD Foundation; Registered Recreation Therapist. Jennifer does not recall life without OCD, her goal is to build awareness and create a supportive OCD community.
